I got my first sewing machine for Christmas about 8 years ago. The machine sat on my shelf until I had my first daughter. When she was about a year old I decided it was time to sew something. I went to Joannes, bought a Tinkerbell cosutme pattern. I had the lady help me find figure out how much fabric to buy. I went home and started sewing. Half way through I called my mom and had her come finish it because I didn't know WHAT THE HECK I WAS DOING!!
Fast forward a few years and I discovered the world of blogging!! Free tutorials...stay at home mom's sharing their ideas and information. I started with Crayon Rolls from Skip to my Lou for Christmas gifts. And I've been sewing and crafting ever since.
Now I make doll clothes for my children and hope to open and Etsy shop soon. I love sewing clothes for girls and I LOVE planning parties and baking. So this little blog is just a way to share my projects with the world...and hopefully inspire someone just starting out sewing that you can learn too!!
{I love to bake interesting things for my husbands office. These are cupcakes that look like Chinese Take Out!}
